Hornets take tournament in Mahnomen

Frazee’s ninth grade wrestling team advanced to state after competing in a meet this past weekend in Hastings. Team members include: (from left) Michael Miller, Landon Byer, (row 2) Colton Borah, Ricky Roforth, Hudson Hiemenz, Nick Endersby, Brendan Nolan, Cassidy Ziegler, (row 3) Kyler Wegner, Caleb Wutzke, Gabe Drewes, Brett Graham, Tanner Tappe, Logan Wacker, Tanner Eischens, Josh Erckenbrack, Caitlin Wacker, Callie Mastin and Mackenzie Pakula. Frazee took No. 1 in the event with 248 points; No. 2 was Detroit Lakes with 138.5 points; No. 3 was Fosston with 119 points.
Frazee wrestlers continued their dominating streak at the Mahnomen-Waubun dual tournament at Mahnomen Friday, Jan. 9.

2014 in Review: FHS athletic programs send many athletes to state


The Frazee Hornet football program brought home a runner-up section trophy. Many Hornet athletic programs and athletes competed in playoff or state competitions in 2014.
Frazee High School athletics shone bright in 2014, with many individuals setting school records and teams making it deeper into the playoffs than in recent years.
