The Frazee Hornets took 4th place in the State Wrestling Tournament Thursday.
In the opening match Thursday morning, Frazee only trailed after the first mat battle, then went on to lead Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale by as much as 16 points before the Raiders rallied to within seven points late in the dual clash.

After seeing a nine-point halftime lead disappear in the second half, the Frazee Lady Hornets responded by scoring the last 11 points of the game to defeat Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal 61-52 Monday night in Ulen.

Sherry Johnson took the top prize at the six-dog mid-distance race in Frazee Saturday, Feb. 22.
The fans cheered on the Frazee Hornets during individual competition last weekend when six qualified for state competition. The team and individuals will be vying for state titles this Thursday through Saturday in St. Paul.

February is coming to a close, so that means reservations have been made in St. Paul for Frazee’s Hornets, both for the team and for individual wrestlers competing in the Class A tournament.
