The average American wastes up to 43 pounds of food a month, and if that number were reduced by 15 percent, there would be enough food to feed 25 million people, according to www.FoodDay.org.

FHS robotics team crushes competition, earns invite to six-state event in Fargo

Frazee High School’s Kaotic Robotic team crushed its opposition at a recent competition in New London, earning four awards and the opportunity to advance to regional competition where 36 teams from six states will compete.

Three FFA teams to compete at state

The second annual Minnesota Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) robotics competition will take place at the New London-Spicer High School Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19.

The Hornet volleyball team had a great homecoming week with some tough fought matches.  
 
The Hornets took on the Menahga Braves Tuesday, Sept. 24 and won the match 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-15).
