Dey takes the wheel of Turkey Days tractor show

The Tractor Show began a few years ago because of John Dermody’s affinity for the machines. After the Frazee man passed last year it was uncertain who would take over the Turkey Days event.

The Vergas Trail Committee has had a total of $25,000 in donations come in since its last meeting.
 
The donations have been made by Hanson’s Plumbing and Heating ($20,000), Arvig and a personal donor.

The Road Rally is back for Turkey Days with a new twist

Proposed regional park spurs discussion, excitement in area


Bender Realty, which has an office in Frazee, snapped an aerial photograph of a portion of the land being sought for a regional park, which includes a covered bridge over the Otter Tail River.
A proposed regional park near Frazee has potential to bring tourism, add recreation and improve commerce, but the first step to the project is securing the 156 acres.
