Syrup added to list of homemade items to be sold at upcoming event by Strom


Rural Frazee resident Sharon Strom has been a vendor at the Frazee Craft Fair for more than 20 years selling her jelly, dish towels, baked goods and syrups.
The very popular Frazee Craft Show is set for Saturday, Oct. 24 and is open for more vendors to join.

Car repair and welding service to open in same building as new thrift store


The building at 205 West Main Avenue in Frazee will soon re-open. Aaron Nolan (from left) will offer welding services; Andy Nolan will offer car repair and Nola Johnson is going to open a thrift store.
Two businesses will be opening in October at 205 West Main Avenue in Frazee:  Andy’s Lube and Auto Repair, which now offers a welding service and Nola’s Closet, a thrift store.

District to make offer for 10-acre parcel


The Frazee-Vergas School Board gave the green light for the district to make an offer for a 10-acre parcel to landowner Mark Kelly.
The Frazee-Vergas School District campus may gain an additional 10 acres, if land negotiations go well with Mark Kelly, who lives just outside the city limits of Frazee.

Construction to begin at school ball fields, state gives more money for native students

Construction will soon begin at the Frazee High School ball fields. On the agenda are a new concession stand for the softball and baseball fields, as well as a roof over the baseball bleachers, and a sound system.

The Gordon Sanders family held a pancake and sausage breakfast Sunday, July 26 during Turkey Days at the Frazee-Vergas VFW Post 7702 in Frazee in memory of Gordon and raised $400.
