Sailor of the year credits local family for making him a man of honor


Russell Wagenman, the son of Dent residents Kelly and Debbie Wagenman and brother of Frazee resident Rhonda Ueke, was recently named Navy Medicine East Sailor of the Year.
Russell Wagenman, 39, doesn’t want to retire, but he may have no choice. The fact his superiors recently bestowed upon him the title of Navy Medicine East Sailor of the Year can’t even change that.
