Frazee will soon have transit bus service. 
 
The buses, which seat up to 12 people, will be open to everyone and the entire fleet is handicapped-accessible.

Medallion hunt one of many new events featured Saturday at Vergas Maple Fest


Those participating in the Maple Medallion Hunt will be searching for this decorative three-leaf art piece. Once found, turn it in to those working the pancake feed to claim the prize and trophy.
The inaugural Maple Medallion Hunt starts Saturday, April 9 and the super sleuth who decrypts the clues will walk away with a gift basket full of prizes and a handmade trophy compliments of rural Vergas artist Patrick Shannon.

Vergas residents honor business and resident for community service


Lee Dahlgren held up the Vergas Business of the Year plaque and Cheryl Hanson the Vergas Volunteer of the Year plaque. Both were bestowed with the honor after community residents voted during a recent volunteer appreciation party.
An event brings visitors to town and tightens the bond of residents. Most of the local celebrations would not be possible without volunteers, like Cheryl Hanson.

The good will of the Twice Blessed thrift store is being enjoyed by many residents at the Frazee Care Center, as well as pastors and musicians.

Zitzow continues family tradition of fighting fires
