Skye, a friendly medium-sized yellow lab went missing in the commotion during the fire that destroyed a rural Frazee home. Owners are hoping for her safe return. If found call 320-420-9938.

Carts of toys bring joy to girls and boys


Members of the Detroit Lakes Jaycees purchased hundreds of presents recently that were given to Becker County children this past Saturday. Frazee High School graduate Nick Woodard was one of the shoppers.
Twenty carts filled to the brim with toys were pushed to checkouts at area stores recently. Pushing one of the carts was Nate Woodard.

Frazee’s first paved path to be built this summer, agreement leaves board member with hard feelings


The paved asphalt path location is shown in the above drawing and is located behind Red Willow Drive and on school property.
The first paved trail in Frazee will be almost a half mile long and connect one of the oldest neighborhoods to one of the newest.

With almost 5 months of expenses in reserves, district raises tax levy 16 percent


Expenditures of the general funds are noted on the above graph prepared by Eide Bailly in the annual audit report for the Frazee-Vergas School District.
With $3.51 million in the Frazee Vergas School District’s unreserved fund, board member Jim Nelson recommended using the surplus of unreserved funds to pay down further bond debt.
