All ages are invited to two Frazee Library upcoming events as storytime adds a twist of music.
“Music & Motion Storytime” will be held Monday, Aug. 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the R.L. Frazee Park in Frazee. Storytime host Patty Nunn will be joined by musical guest Mike LaCoursiere.
“Up in the UP” with Bill Jamerson will be held Thursday, Sept. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Frazee LINK Library Site. Jamerson’s songs and stories about Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, are similar to the experiences of miners in Minnesota’s Iron Range. Due to its isolation, many of the area’s cultural traditions have been preserved, and Jamerson’s stories about the people who grew up there in the 1930s are sure to delight audiences of all ages.
The library will be closed Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of Labor Day.
