Holiday train to stop in Detroit Lakes Dec. 16

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make a stop at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the Holmes Street railroad crossing near the Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center. The annual fund­raiser will also include a live concert with performances by the Claytones and Milwaukee’s Willy Porter – and an appearance from Santa Claus. 
 
  The community is encouraged to donate food and funds which goes to local food pantries. The 2011 CP Holiday Train schedule is available at www.cpr.ca or look on Facebook.
