Local community leaders continue to be featured in a series of Storytimes at the Frazee library. The series, called “Community Leaders are Readers,” features community members sharing what they do to serve Frazee with a new reader each month. The summer lineup is as follows.

Tammie Nunn, school board member, will share stories about her hobbies, which include golfing, fishing and hunting, Monday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m.

Monday, Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m., Patty Nunn, the Frazee Library LINK Site’s coordinator, will share songs and stories for around the campfire.

Albert Doll, Frazee Fire Chief, will visit the Frazee Library LINK Site to share stories and information about fire safety and prevention Monday, Sept. 10 at 9:30 a.m.

Children infant-age and up are invited to attend these Storytimes with their caregivers. As always, these library events are offered free of charge. Parents of pre-kindergarten children, including infants, are invited to join 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, which is a Lake Agassiz Regional Library program encouraging parents to read to their children 1,000 times before they enter kindergarten.
