Lady Hornet golfers hung tough in the fairways and putted their way to qualifying for section play.

Garrett Malstrom, Roger Thorp and Austin Torma, all juniors at Frazee High School, competed last weekend at the Schuman National Underclassmen (NUC) Football Combine in Burnsville.
The Frazee and Vergas amateur baseball teams did not fare well in their recent Countryside League clashes.
Each club lost a pair of games on a weekend that was too cold and in some cases a bit damp.

The wind was blowing hard as the Hornets headed into Nugget country May 7.

Ten silvers and two bronze were earned by the Frazee Hornets boys track and field team at the Barnesville Booster Club Meet May 16.

In what has proven to be a whirlwind finish to the regular season, the Lady Hornets softball team played 13 games in 2 weeks and finished by going 10-3 in those games.
There were very few games played in the three leagues in the area last weekend, with only the Midway Snurdbirds getting in a pair of tournament games at a Fargo-Moorhead tournament before being rained out of a 3rd place contest on Sunday.
