Frazee High School’s freshmen class sent three to compete at the Minnesota 9th Grade State League at Champlin Park in the Cities. Coach Steve Wilkowski (from left) stood next to Luke Tweeton, Brock Barlund, Kaden Hiemenz and coach Brady Breitenfeldt after the athletes earned a state berth. Tweeton won first place, Hiemenz got third and Barlend went 1-2 on the day. The event had A, AA and AAA schools combined.
When speaking to head coach Clay Nagel before the wrestling match Tuesday, Jan. 31, the line “It’s going to be electric, (emphasis on the word electric) you have to capture it,” was stated.
