The wrestling team of Frazee High School took the battle for the state championship honor to the last match and was nudged out by No. 1 seeded Kenyon-Wanamingo Friday, Feb. 25 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Sinking 67 percent (8-for-12) of shots, Parsons had a solid performance from the field for Hornets.

Tanner Reetz, son of Frazee residents Steve and Mary Jo Reetz, earned his 150th win as a member of the Frazee High School wrestling team. The milestone was reached during the team Class A Section 8 tournament Saturday.
The Frazee High School wrestlers won the Class A Section 8 team title Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Ralph Englestad Arena in Thief River Falls and are heading to state.
