In 1978 Verla Bruhn sank 36 points in a single game, setting the Lady Hornet’s record for most points scored in a basketball game.

Fly Girls to take both teams to state tourney


The Frazee Fly Girls celebrated after sections Saturday as both the high hick and jazz teams earned a berth at the state meet to be held this Friday and Saturday. There will be a public send-off this Thursday at 10 a.m. in the FHS gym. Photos by Joleen Giefer and Stacy Moe
The Frazee Fly Girls are heading to state this year even after a section realignment that put the veteran state qualifiers up against some of the top teams in the state.

Lady Hornets unable to overcome Rebels

The Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels used a 16-0 first half run to take control of the game as they beat the Frazee Lady Hornets 73-58 in Heart O’Lakes conference basketball Monday night in Glyndon.
