Shooting with a Canon, FHS student fires off memorable photos


Aina Olson, the daughter of Paula Olson and Mike Olson will have at least 10 photographs on display during the annual arts festival at the high school.
A photograph can capture any emotion or moment in time, and the power of the lens has pulled Aina Olson into embracing the craft.

Breanna Sazama is all about using her hands to create usable art from clay. Those who attend the Frazee High School Fine Arts Festival Thursday, March 16 will be able to view her work.

Students begin hand-delivering coffee to teachers at FHS


Frazee High School faculty members were recently given the opportunity to have a freshly-brewed Cup O’Joe hand-delivered to their classroom by students.
The Cup O’Joe project has begun at Frazee High School and each faculty member who participates gives students an opportunity they might not otherwise have.

Robotics brings home regional championship, heading to world event

Frazee High School’s robotics program, in its fifth year of existence, won the regional championship and earned its second invite to the world championships in St. Louis.

FHS robotics team seals robot, prepares for Duluth competition

The Frazee High School robotics team has sealed its robot and is ready for the big competition in Duluth March 1-4.
 
This year’s competition involves a spaceship and is called Steam Works.

One Act takes fourth at sub-sections


The high school one act play had eight students participate this year (from left) Jacob Lormis, Megan Danielson, Sky Olson, Megan Wutzke, (not pictured) Nick Geiselhart, Eric Ciancio, Kirsten St. Germain and Abbey Sellgren.
Frazee High School’s one act play  went to sub-section competition in Park Rapids this past weekend and returned with a fourth place for a  performance of “10 Reasons You Should Have Stayed Home Sick Today” by E. M. Bell.

Old band uniforms being made into keepsake pillows


The recently-replaced band uniforms are being used to create commemorative pillows that will be sold to help fund future band activities.
The Frazee High School band is making use of its old uniforms by turning them into keepsake pillows.
