Mosaic art to be auctioned at FHS art show April 19

Frazee Elementary students created 11 glass mosaics, all of which will be auctioned at the upcoming art show April 19. The mosaic is of a buck with lush green rolling hills as a background.

Frazee’s annual art show often creates plenty of breathtaking moments where admiration for the abundantly creative students leaps to a new plateau.

FHS robotics fundraiser a rousing success

The FHS Kaotic Robotics Club's fundraiser Friday at the FEC had an estimated 650 persons attend. The line snaked from the serving area for at least two hours, as so much spaghetti, breadsticks and desserts were served that more food had to be purchased during the event. Donations for the dinner topped $2,000, while the total earned with income from a silent auction and bake sale went over $8,500. The 32 students will attend a competition in St. Louis later this month.

It could have been a big collection of prospective marathon runners filling plates to “carb up” for a long jaunt on the road the following day.
