Cally’s Corner: Children and pets – amazing gifts


Cally and husband Darby Nundahl live in rural Frazee and have six children. Cally enjoys spending time with family and friends, quilting, writing, painting, the outdoors and the country life. She is a writer, photographer, typesetter and proofreader for the Frazee-Vergas Forum.
While checking the chickens one evening to make sure they were all nestled in their nests in the coop, I heard a faint chirping. It wasn’t the usual happy chirping my little chicks make, but a scared, sad-sounding chirp.

History of Frazee – Fall of 1897

Fall 1897, Catholic Church building. Father Laurette who had recently come to Frazee saw the start of the building in the fall on lots donated by John Neuner in December of 1883 in the addition he had just platted.

Gale Force Winds: What a wonderful summer

This nice 21" bass was caught in the beginning of the blue moon Tuesday night. It was released.
Well, summer may have started slow, but I got to say it’s been a wonderful season.
 
This week’s super warm weather makes one just glad to have so much water around.
