Daneele and her husband Jay Shipman live in rural Frazee with their children Carter and Cassidy. Daneele is originally from the Chicago area, but has lived in Frazee for over 20 years. Daneele enjoys reading, quilting, knitting and gardening. She is a freelance writer for the Frazee-Vergas Forum and a Frazee Area Community Club director.

November is a time when most Americans take a day to spend time with those most important to them and give thanks for the things we have to be thankful for. Heck, we even call it, "Thanksgiving."
