In elementary school I had a speech impediment. I slurred my “S” to have a “sh” sound and was ordered to do a tour in speech therapy.

Memorial Day kicks off summer


Vergas Boy Scouts Taylor Armstrong, Tucker Nundahl and Jacob Lormis participated in the Memorial Day ceremony honoring fallen soldiers.
School ended last week and Memorial Day weekend is over – summer is finally here.

Daneele and her husband Jay Shipman live in rural Frazee with their children Carter and Cassidy. Daneele is originally from the Chicago area, but has lived in Frazee for over 20 years. Daneele enjoys reading, quilting, knitting and gardening. She is a freelance writer for the Frazee-Vergas Forum and a Frazee Area Community Club director.
I have had quite a busy last month to say the least. One of the things I was busy doing was a trip to Chicago for some work training on HIPAA.
