Vergas Auto Body celebrates decade in business


Kevin Zitzow opened Vergas Auto Repair in 2006 in a one-stall garage and moved to his current location at 250 1st Avenue North in Vergas (also known as Otter Tail County Highway 17) two years later.
Owner Kevin Zitzow had dreamt a long time about owning his own business, but spent several years working as a mechanic in Perham to gain experience before the search for real estate began.

Ants, thorny bark and massive trees are no match for God-sent group


The trees were so large that the lakes area men who ventured over to Africa (from left) Dennis Paush, Tom Seelye, Ross Kalberer and Eric Norberg almost disappeared behind the fallen trunk.

Tom Seelye climbed a 180 foot tree to begin the cutting process.
