Spanky’s prepares food for Public TV series


Josh Hanson, owner of Spanky's Stone Hearth, explained the process of preparing all the ingredients to be used in a marinade for lamb. Interviewing him was Mary Lehammer, a reporter for Twin Cities Public Television. Hanson cut up such ingredients as freshly grown mint, along with other herbs grown on the grounds, plus strawberries, pineapple, cucumbers and other vegetables. Also used was a variety of condiments, with explanations about how each was used. The program pinpoints the use of Minnesota foods, especially the locally grown products.
