The congregation at Harvest Fellowship Church in Frazee was pleasantly surprised when the “walls came tumbling down” (not literally) creating an updated fresh look in the sanctuary at the church.

Concerts bring in high-energy acts to Turkey Days


Arena will perform in Frazee Friday, July 24 at the outdoor stage in the Frazee Liquor Store parking lot from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Music will be rocking the streets of Frazee July 24-26 for the city-wide celebration, Turkey Days.
 
Friday night includes a variety of options, from DJs to area acts to professional bands.

Propose handicap-friendly playground

The proposed new playground at Frazee Elementary would include new equipment, a rubber surface and a walkway down to the playground area, all of which would be handicap accessible.
Special education students with mobility issues are confined to a blacktop parking lot in the back of Frazee Elementary during recess and outdoor playtime.

Brain tumor creates hardship, community rallies with benefit

Rethwisch
Carol and Warren Rethwisch are the focus of a benefit to help defray medical costs due to a malignant tumor that was partially removed from Warren’s brain. The benefit is July 23 from 4-11 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Pavilion.
Most of Warren Rethwisch’s adult life has been spent protecting the country and those living in Becker County. Now, the 66-year-old needs help protecting his family.
