Soland sweeps inaugural Redneck pageant


Mr. Redneck Vergas contestants strutted their stuff and blew on duck calls for the opening number, while Kraig Glawe showed off his tats.

Anthony Soland was named Mr. Redneck Vergas and also won the talent competition and the best dressed in camo competition.

Seven handsome rednecks, each showing off a full set of teeth, took the stage at the Vergas Event Center Saturday, Nov. 23 and strutted their stuff for the Mr. Redneck crown.

Melanie Turcotte has two residences. In Frazee, she’s a 22-year-old in love with the outdoors, but in Detroit Lakes, where she lives at the movie theater, she’s a wise business manager going on 50.
