Fire destroys Toad Lake Taxidermy in Osage

Generous grant buys turnout gear


David Gunderson (right) and Nick Torgerson (left) presented Frazee Fire Chief Albert Doll with a check to purchase turnout gear. Gunderson is the safety coordinator for Viking Gas and Torgerson is a pipeline operator and safety representative at the Frazee compressor station.
The Frazee Fire Department recently received a grant from ONEOK, an underground gas pipeline company, to purchase one set of turnout gear. The check was for $2,835.

Birkeland’s business grows, moves into new shop

Terry Birkeland’s woodworking business recently outgrew his home shop and he relocated to a much larger building on the outskirts of Frazee.
