Ann Quittschreiber walked out of her quaint Frazee home on the edge of town and into the garage where woodworking tools were waiting to be used on her most current project - a wood box.

Skating rink, warming house opens in downtown Frazee


The ice skating rink is located on Main Avenue next to the post office.
The idea of having a skating rink in downtown Frazee blossomed in a committee meeting and gained momentum with the city’s Economic Development Authority, when member Fred Daggett offered a tarp for the base of the rink.

Frazee approves 8 percent raises, Vergas 3-5 percent

 
The city of Frazee approved 8 percent raises for all of its full-time employees, while Vergas, Detroit Lakes and Perham were in the 2-3 percent range.
